Professional Experience
Alan’s career has grown from a base in
architecture, urban design and regional planning through project
management to facilitation and group workshop management.
Since 1987 Alan has facilitated and managed
group exercises involving various public and private sector
proposals, ventures & strategies throughout Australia,
New Zealand and South East Asia.
Alan has enjoyed a pre-eminent position
in the formative phases of the development of Strategic Asset
Management in NSW. His work has involved leadership and research
into the application, practice and education courses in this
major revision to traditional approaches for private and public
sector investors.
Alan had a long and varied career in
the NSW public service involving senior executive appointments
before moving into the private sector and forming ACVM, a
company involved in the research, education and practice of
Value Management, Professional Facilitation and Strategic
Asset Management.
Alan introduces a level of critical analysis
to assignments which is strongly appreciated by the many repeat
client commissions ACVM experiences.
Alan has been awarded Fellow Practitioner
status for his contributions to the industry by the Institute
of Value Management Australia Inc.
